B.Tech Admission 2026-27 3rd Allotment

  • Candidates allotted through CEE for joining engineering courses in this institution are advised to follow these instructions/guidelines strictly.
  • The date and time for joining engineering courses are scheduled as below:

Documents to be produced at the time of admission

  1. Originals of all the documents and certificates uploaded with the CEE website.
  2. Certificate to prove date of birth.
  3. TFS / Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate
  4. Original mark list of the qualifying examination and the Pass certificate of the qualifying examination (if issued).
  5. Migration Certificate, if applicable.
  6. Physical Fitness Certificate in the relevant format given in Annexure XVII (a) or XVII (b) of the Prospectus 2026.
  7. Receipt of fee remitted.
  8. Data sheet of KEAM 2026.
  9. Allotment Memo issued by the CEE.
  10. Any other documents required in the allotment Memo/Notification.

Note: Fee/balance fee of the course should be paid at the time of admission to the college itself.

M.Tech Admission 2026-27

M.Tech Prospectus 2026

Spot Admission to M.Tech: 05-08-2026

As per the instructions by the Director of Technical Education, Spot Admission to the M.Tech programmes is scheduled to be conducted on 05 August 2026. Eligible candidates may report for spot admission on or before 12.00 noon on the scheduled date.

Candidates who are already admitted to any Government/ Aided Engineering College shall produce their Admission Slip at the time of reporting.

Other candidates shall produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) on the parent institution’s official letterhead stating that “The institution has no objection to the candidate participating in the spot admission at Government Engineering College Barton Hill, Trivandrum and will issue a Transfer Certificate (TC) if selected”.

After successful verification of the original documents by the Admission Committee, candidates must remit the prescribed fee at the college office to confirm their admission:

  • Rs. 22,926/-  – General category
  • Rs. 4,575/-  – SC/ST category
  • Rs. 60,631/-  – Translational Engineering programme

The above amount includes: Fees to be paid to the University, Tuition fee, PTA, College Bus Facility etc.

Candidates are advised to refer to the M.Tech Prospectus and visit the college website regularly for the latest updates and further admission-related instructions.

Eligibility

  1. Should be included in DTE Rank List
  2. In absence of any candidate in the rank list, non-registered eligible candidates may apply.

Documents to be produced at the time of Spot admission

  1. Students already admitted to any Government/ Aided Engineering College shall produce their Admission Slip. Other students admitted to other colleges shall produce a No Objection Certificate.
  2. If not admitted in any college, the candidate should produce the Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
  3. Certificate to prove date of birth.
  4. Original mark list of the qualifying examination:

  5. Migration Certificate, if applicable.
  6. GATE Score Card (for GATE Qualified candidate)
  7. Physical Fitness Certificate
  8. Nativity Certificate if applicable
  9. Community Certificate if applicable
  10. Non-Creamy Layer certificate if applicable
  11. EWS Certificate if applicable
  12. Income Certificate if applicable
  13. Proof of eligibility under the claimed special quota
  14. Sponsorship Certificate and relevant Government Orders (for sponsored candidates only)
  15. Two passport size photographs
  16. Any other documents specified in the M.Tech Prospectus

    * Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech course under KTU, who have passed a qualifying examination from the examination boards recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) need not produce equivalency certificate.
